Photowalk workshops

The photowalk workshops are aimed at beginners and people who are struggling with their photography and camera settings.

They take place in various locations including Southampton & Winchester city centres and also near Lyndhurst in the New Forest.

The workshop will last around 3 to 4 hours long and all you will need to bring with you is your camera and a standard zoom lens 24 - 70mm or 18 - 55mm will be fine, if you have neither of these we can work with what you have so dont worry. Also wear sensible comfy footwear as some of the walks are around 5km, the workshop will take place in most weather conditions so please dress accordingly. If rain is forecast for the whole session then i will rearrange for another time as it is no fun getting soaked through!

We will look at taking photos using various settings on your camera to help get you out of auto mode and start getting creative with your photography, this will include shooting in aperture priority & shutter priority modes. We might even play with full manual mode as well.

I will teach you how to compose your photographs better and how to get the correct exposure for your photographs, i will also demonstrate depth of field and show you how to achieve those blurred out arty backgrounds!

After you have attended one of my workshop you will be added to my facebook group where you can upload photos and chat with other members, you can also ask me questions etc. There will also be other photo excursions / days out posted from time to time on the group page.

The price for these workshops is just £20.00 and are limited to 5 people per session. To book please use the book online tab any problems please contact me.
